Exceptional opening hours for sports facilities during the Christmas period and the rest of the year until 6 January 2026

Winter holidays affect the opening hours of sports facilities during the rest of the year and at the turn of the year.

Tampere Swimming Centre will serve customers both on Independence Day, 6 December and New Year's Day, 1 January 2026, from 10 am to 6 pm, other swimming pools are closed. For exceptional opening hours of the swimming pools on public holidays, please see below.

Ice skating on the artificial ice is available on all public holidays, conditions permitting. On Christmas Eve, the artificial ice rinks are closed. Ski trails are also maintained on public holidays, depending on conditions, but not on Christmas Eve. Up-to-date information on the condition of the ski trails and artificial ice rinks is available from the Outdoor Sports Conditions Service.
