The Adult Education Centre of the Tampere Region's Autumn 2025 Course Registration Begins on August 1, 2025

The Adult Education Centre of the Tampere Region's autumn course registration begins online on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 12:00. The offerings include over a thousand courses in information subjects, arts, crafts, health promotion, and languages. More courses for children and youth have been added to the course catalog, and the selection of English-language courses has been expanded.

The autumn 2025 course registration at the Adult Education Centre of the Tampere Region begins online on Friday, August 1, 2024, at 12:00. The centre recommends registering online, but registration by phone and in person at the offices is also possible starting from Thursday, August 14, 2024, at 12:00. The course selection can be browsed in advance on the registration website.

Support for online registration is available in Tampere at Sampola on Monday, August 4, 2025, from 9:00 to 12:00. The registration support and study counseling day at the Ylöjärvi Library Leija will be held on Monday, August 11, 2024, from 10:00 to 12:00. Customer service will also reopen after the summer break on Monday, August 11, 2025, at Sampola and Ylöjärvi City Hall at 12:00.

As in previous years, the autumn offerings include both full academic year courses and one-semester courses, as well as short courses ranging from one day or weekend to a few sessions. Most of the teaching begins at the beginning of September, but courses start throughout the semester.

New courses for autumn 2025 include AI courses focused on creativity and visual arts, English-language courses on computer use and AI tools, event photography, face yoga, bone health courses, children's hip-hop and sports, beginner Arabic for children and youth, the youth theatre NuTe, show belly dance, a band club for former youth, and sound bowl relaxation sessions in Hervanta and English-language yoga.

The general lecture season begins at the adult education centre on Saturday, September 6, 2024. The general lectures in the autumn will guide the audience through the architectural heritage gems of Ylöjärvi, the old houses of Pispala, Tampere's photographs, television history, budgeting, safety themes, and health topics. The nature-focused Sampola Nature Night will fill the campus on Friday, November 14, 2025.

The Adult Education Centre of the Tampere Region is Finland's first adult education centre, with over 15,000 students annually, totaling over 30,000 course participants in approximately 2,000 courses in Tampere, Ylöjärvi, and online. The centre records over 185,000 visits annually.
