The junction of Takahuhdintie and Irjalankatu will be closed to vehicular traffic on 18 July and will be opened by 3 August, 2025 at the latest. Traffic signs will guide traffic on Takahuhdintie to avoid the junction via Sammon valtatie.

The closure of the junction is part of the Irjalankatu construction project. The customers are the City of Tampere and Tampere Water. The construction contract is carried out by Hervannan Kaivin Oy. The design is prepared by Ramboll Finland Oy and the construction services are provided by Welado Oy.
