The Adult Education Centre of the Tampere Region autumn 2025 courses have been published – registration starts online on August 1

The autumn 2025 courses of The Adult Education Centre of the Tampere Region have been published online on the registration website. Over a thousand courses offer study and hobby opportunities for all ages in subjects such as information sciences, arts, crafts, health promotion, and languages.

The autumn 2025 course registration for The Adult Education Centre of the Tampere Region will begin online on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 12:00. The centre has published the autumn courses on the registration page, allowing customers to familiarize themselves with the course selection and details well in advance of registration.

As in previous years, the selection includes both full academic year courses and single semester courses, as well as short courses ranging from one day or weekend to several sessions. The general lectures will begin as usual in September.

The printed study guide will be distributed as advertising mail to homes in Tampere and Ylöjärvi starting Wednesday, July 23, 2025, after which it can also be picked up from libraries. Detailed course descriptions, meeting times, and locations are visible on the registration website.

The centre recommends registering for courses online, but registration by phone and in person at the offices will also be possible starting Thursday, August 14, 2025.

The centre's office will be closed from June 19, 2025, to August 10, 2025. However, support for online registration will be available in Tampere at Sampola on Monday, August 4, 2025, from 9:00 to 12:00, and in Ylöjärvi at the Leija Library on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 10:00 to 12:00.

The Adult Education Centre of the Tampere Region is Finland's first adult education centre, with over 15,000 students annually, totaling over 30,000 course participants in approximately 2,000 courses. The centre records over 185,000 visits per year.
