The popular Evening Market starts at Tammelantori 4.6.2025

The Evening Markets will be held on Tammelantori on Wednesday evenings in June and July, starting from 4.6.2025. Markets will offer free sales at the flea market tables, and there will also be free market exercise for local residents.

The Evening Market has been very popular and residents have asked for its continuation. The popularity of the flea market is also reflected in the fact that last year it was extended until August.

Free flea market

Anyone can go to the free flea market in Tammelantori on Wednesdays from 4 p.m. onwards and sell their own goods. You do not need to book your own flea market table in advance. The same possibility is also available at Laukontori.

‒ We want to offer a free flea market for everyone. The Evening Market is an effortless way to recycle old goods and there are no extra costs for the seller. The flea market is also a good meeting place, tells Rämälä.

Tammelantori also has free daily flea market tables for young people aged 15-25, which can be booked via the Varaamo website. Other paid flea market tables can also be booked via the Varaamo website. Regular market traders have also been given the opportunity to keep their stalls open until 22.00.

The market stalls will also continue

The free market group exercises organised by Tampere's gymnastics team Taju will continue this year. The group exercise are suitable for all ages, even on the hard asphalt surfaces of the squares. Like the flea markets, the group exercises were very popular last year.
