Ethics channel
The ethics channel is available for reporting any suspicions regarding misconduct and violations of policies and regulations. Suspicions are taken seriously, and we want to provide an easy and confidential reporting channel to raise any issues.
Reportable misconduct may be related to, for example, public procurement, data protection and security, or privacy or identity protection. The channel is based on the EU directive and the national whistleblower protection act.
The City of Tampere's reporting channel is intended for all persons employed by or working for the city, as well as for the city's and city group's contractual partners. Reports can also be submitted by parties involved in the subcontracting chain, such as subcontractors' employees. City personnel can also access the ethics channel via the intranet.
For filing a report, contract partners need a security key, which can be requested confidentially from designated persons in Internal Audit and Legal Affairs (see contact information below).
