You can view old building permits, main drawings, special plans and final inspection reports by ordering the materials in advance. Main drawings are also available for purchase through the Tapsa service.
How to access archived building control materials
- Submit an order form or purchase the main drawings through the Tapsa service. Links are provided below.
- Wait for confirmation from the Archives. We will contact you when the materials are ready for viewing.
- Some materials are available in digital format and can be viewed on customer terminals at the City Archives or at the Tampere Service Point. Paper materials can only be viewed at the City Archives.
- Confirm your visit by replying to the email or calling us to let us know when you plan to come.
- Visit the City Archives at the agreed time and review the materials at your own pace.
- You can order copies of selected drawings through the Archives.
- Please note that Archives staff cannot interpret the documents for you. If needed, bring an expert to help you review the material.
