Koilliskeskus Welfare Centre

Koilliskeskus is home to a wide range of services for residents in the area. A library as well as a Prisma and other retailers, are all under one roof. On the other side of the courtyard is the Linnainmaa Social and Health Care Centre. In Kämmenniemi there is also Teisko's Kämppi.

In Koilliskeskus you can shop, take part in cultural events, exercise, study or just relax. The building has rooms that can be reserved for meetings or hobby groups, for example.

Koilliskeskus Library offers loans, events and facilities for the whole family. The library has a comfortable reading room, lounges, reading stations and a music room where you can sing and play instruments. You can book a music room or exhibition space at the library.

Youth Centre

Near Koilliskeskus, on Korpikatu, there's Youth Centre Muru that offers activities for both younger children (aged 9 to 12) and older youth (aged 13 to 17).

Social and health services

Social and health services for Tampere residents are organised by the The Wellbeing Services County of Pirkanmaa. A health centre, a dental clinic and a maternity and children's clinic are located near Koilliskeskus. There is also a Fimlab laboratory in Linnainmaa.
