Celebrating the darkest season of the year, the 55th Tampere Festival of Light illuminates the streets of Tampere city centre with hundreds of magical light spheres, street projections and exciting light art.

Step into the light!
The lights will be turned on at dusk, and turned off on weekdays at 11 pm and on weekends at 5 am.
Hämeenkatu main street is illuminated with string lights. You might also spot a few curious Passengers waiting for the tram to arrive.
Lamp-post illuminations along Aleksis Kiven katu street and the light curtains in front of Tampere City Central Office Building brighten up the humdrum of everyday life.
