Counselling Point of social services will help you when you need information about City of Tampere social services and benefits.
You can contact us by phone or using the internet, or you can visit us at any of the following service points: Sarvis, Ohjaamo, Hervanta, Linnainmaa and Tesoma.
Kototori
Kototori is a multilingual, low-threshold, guidance and counselling centre at Hervanta. Multilingual counsellors work together with professionals and volunteers from the City of Tampere Social Services.
Social stand-by service
You can take contact with the Social stand-by service when you need urgent help or counselling concerning for instance family crisis or domestic violence.
Multilingual Info Mainio
Mainio gives multi-lingual information and guidance in 13 different languages.
You can contact a social worker when you have problems arising from substance abuse, financial problems in the family or any other crisis. A social worker helps also when you need guidance and counselling about social security and services.
The services are aimed at supporting local residents as early as possible in various problematic life situations.
The City of Tampere makes the decisions concerning supplementary and preventive social assistance. Before you may apply for these benefits, you should find out whether you are currently receiving basic social assistance from Kela.
