School and student health care
School health care is statutory and free of charge. A school nurse and a school doctor carry out individual health check-ups for pupils at regular intervals. Student health care provides services for students at polytechnics, vocational upper secondary colleges and institutes and general upper secondary education.
The youth clinic gives birth control advice to Tampere residents under 22 years of age.
