The Tulevaisuusverstas project organises workshops to develop futures literacy, the ability to understand the interaction between the present and the future. In these workshops, young people explore different education and career paths and are given tools to build a positive vision of the future. Visits to companies will also be organised.
Youth Guarantee Grants
The City of Tampere supports organisations and associations that want to promote the labour market participation and skills of young people in Tampere who are not in education, training or employment, to strengthen inclusion and to promote the objectives of the Youth Employment Programme.
Applications for Youth Guarantee grants for 2025-2026 have been submitted
The City of Tampere Youth Guarantee Grants for 2025-2026 were open for applications October 1 - October 31, 2024 from non-profit associations and organisations providing services for young people. For the first time, the calls were organised on a two-year basis.
The Youth Guarantee Grant was decided on by the Committee for Competence and Economic Development.
Youth Guarantee projects in 2025
In 2025, grants were awarded to non-profit associations and organisations providing services for young people for activities that promote the labour market participation, skills and inclusion of young people under 30 in Tampere who are not in education or employment, and also to promote the objectives of the Youth Employment Programme. In 2025, a total of 293 800 euros was awarded to ten associations for youth guarantee grants.
