Grants can be applied for by associations or non-profit organizations of ethnic and linguistic minorities of Tampere. Associations or non-profit organizations must be registered in Finland. They also must have operated for at least one year.

General grants for cultural minorities for 2027 are open for applications from 14 September to 14 October 2026
The application period for general grants awarded by the City of Tampere will be brought forward. As a result of this reform, organisations receiving general grants will have access to the funds from the beginning of the year.The application form will be published on this page when the application period opens. The application period closes on Wednesday, 14 October 2026 at 15:45.
An information session on the grants will be held on Wednesday, 16 September 2026 from 17:30 to 19:00 at City Hall (Aleksis Kiven katu 14–16 C). No advance registration is required.
General grants for cultural minorities can be awarded to associations or non-profit organizations of ethnic and linguistic minority communities based in Tampere.
The goal of these grants is to support the preservation of the communities' own culture and identity as well as promote integrative activities and connections with the majority population. The application period for the grant is in September to October.
