Due to the coronavirus pandemic, oral health care appointments have been cancelled. Dental care is opened in stages by inviting clients to receptions, e.g. orthodontic treatment for children have begun.
The need for treatment is assessed on the phone and the customers are placed in a treatment queue according to the urgency.
A dental care pandemic reception operates in Tampere, where patients in the Tampere region requiring both urgent treatment and special arrangements due to the infection risk will be treated. The patients’ own municipality or private dentist will refer them to the clinic and an appointment is made on the basis of a consultation made by the dentists of the City of Tampere.

On the Internet, you can check, cancel or reschedule your appointments and make the initial appointment to see a dental hygienist for an assessment of the need for treatment. You can also make an urgent appointment with a dentist.
If a guardian has made an agreement for handling matters related to a dependant with the City of Tampere, he or she may use the Internet service to manage the appointments of his or her children who are under 15 years old.
