All guided exercise groups in the autumn period can be found in the registration system. The registration links for each group open in stages in the system during the actual registration period:
During the registration period, the telephone service may be busy, please wait on the line until you are connected. Queuing is free of charge.
You can register in the groups after the start of the course as long as there are available spaces either through the registration system or by contacting the group instructor during a separate phone time. If the selected course is full, you can register for the queue. If a space becomes available, the sports instructor will contact you and offer the space.
Registration is binding and requires a paid course fee unless you have cancelled the place no later than 7 days before the start of the course. The prices have been indicated in connection with the group information in the registration system. The payment can be made in the online bank if you register online or by means of a payment link to your email. When you register by phone, you can also request a paper invoice that is sent to your home. A five-euro fee will be added.

If commitment to the whole autumn season does not feel right, one-off sports classes are also available such as water sports groups at the swimming hall. You do not need to register for the free walking groups led by our exercise buddies. You can join any time you like. For example, you can get to know local nature with exercise buddies on the “Let’s go to nature” (in Finnish: “Mennään luontoon”) excursions or, if you are interested in the gym, the buddies can help you there at an affordable price. If you find it difficult to leave your home, you can also join online training, announced on a weekly basis. You can participate sitting on your sofa.

In addition to versatile group exercise classes, the courses offered include various kinds of start-up courses. You will get tips and guidance for physical activity based on your condition. The selection also includes inspiring health lectures for learning about different sporting activities and finding your personal favourite. If you have questions about starting training, you can find support in the free sports counselling service. You get personal advice on the exercise opportunities offered by the City of Tampere. Sports counselling is for everyone: families with young children, young people, people of working age – anyone who feels that they need tips and support for finding the spark for exercise.
