Change to self-service hours on Tuesday 29 September
The self-service hours at Koivistonkylä Library will end exceptionally at 9 pm on Tuesday 29 September.
The reason is system maintenance, during which self-service use will not be possible. The maintenance work will not affect the library’s other opening hours.
The Koivistonkylä library is located in connection with the Koivisto school in the middle of the village. The homely library welcomes the whole family. It also works as a meeting place for the schools, day-care centres, and care homes in the area. It's easy to visit the library even if you have mobility issues.
The library provides computers and a multi-functional device for printing, copying, and scanning. In addition, the library has the SeutuVieras wifi network. By logging in, you can use the library's e-resources on your own device.
Koivistonkylä Library is a self-service library that you can also use outside regular opening hours. During broad self-service opening hours, you can open the doors of the library with a PIKI library card and its PIN code.
There are no staff at the library during self-service hours. During self-service hours, you can pick up reservations, loan, and return items using the self-service machines, use a computer, read magazines, and even work, or hold meetings in the library.
You can only use the Koivistonkylä library during self-service hours if you are registered as a self-service library customer. With a single registration, you can use all of Tampere’s self-service libraries.
