Open family clubs [City of Tampere]

In the western region, the number of children has been steadily increasing. The City of Tampere must ensure that the statutory early childhood education and care services are sufficient.

For this reason, the Peltovainio open early childhood education unit will be closed at the end of the operating period at the end of May 2024. The premises will be used for early childhood education.

In the western region, open early childhood education will continue to be provided in the open early childhood education units in Henner, Huusholl and Kalkunvuori.

You need not submit an application or register for joint open family clubs for parents and children. The activities are free of charge. The clubs will be closed during preschool holiday times, so that the last activities take place at the end of May.

“Taidekahvila” (Art cafe) open family club

Wed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The programmes feature puppet theatre, musical play groups, poetry performances and picture shows. Content changes are reserved.

Huusholli offers open early childhood education and care with a focus on music and art. We also organise various events inspired by music and drama. Our open doors events always feature musical play school activities and facilitate artmaking.

These clubs are intended for children aged 2–5 who are in home care. We also organize music theatre clubs for schoolchildren. Just call us by phone to inquire about places in them!

The activities of the open family clubs and the meeting place include spending relaxed time together, with the option to participate in guided activities to varying degrees. You may attend our activities according to your own schedules. The activity is free of charge.
