Children’s activity clubs

Henneri is a meeting place for the whole family, with art-focused open early childhood education clubs for children aged 2-5 at home and an Art Café club open to families. You don't need to register in advance for a family club, you can come as you please. The family club gives you the opportunity to participate in different programmes and meet other families with children. Programmes include puppet theatre, poetry and picture shows, and music.

“Taidekahvila” (Art cafe) open family club

• Monday 9 AM - 3 PM, program at 10 AM and 2 PM
• Tuesday 1 PM - 4 PM, program at 3 PM
• Wednesday 10 AM - 5 PM, program at 11 AM and 3 PM
• Thursday 1 PM - 4 PM, program at 3 PM
• Friday 9 AM - 1 PM, program at 10 AM

Club for 2-5 year olds

• Tuesday and Thursday from 9 am to 12 pm.

Children aged 2-5 years old can attend the club twice a week. Applications are made online and the groups are permanent. 
The clubs combine puppetry, visual and verbal arts and music. There is a permissive atmosphere where children have the opportunity to experiment and create.

Monday afternoons from 13:00 to 16:00 for pre-arranged early childhood education groups.

You only need to register for music classes via the e-form, which helps us ensure that the classes don't get too full.

Registration for the following week's music classes opens every Friday at 2:00 p.m.

Clubs for small children are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Club places can be applied for via Evaka.

Note! The open early childhood education clubs and family clubs in Tesoma and Kalkunvuori will end on 29.5.2026. Next autumn, clubs and family clubs will be offered in Henneri in the west, in Huusholli in the centre and in Linnainmaa in the east.

The activities of the open family clubs and the meeting place include spending relaxed time together, with the option to participate in guided activities to varying degrees. You may attend our activities according to your own schedules. The activity is free of charge.

Open early childhood education and care will observe school holiday periods.
