Covid-19 vaccinations.

No advance appointment is needed. You can get vaccinated by simply queuing up. It is unlikely that there will be long queues, but you should still be prepared to wait. It is important to maintain a safe distance to others while queueing.

Both first vaccinations and booster shots are administered at the pop-up stations. There should be at least six weeks between the first shot and the booster shot. If you have had COVID-19, a vaccine may be administered approximately six months after. Students in their final year of upper secondary school or leaving for student exchange can receive their booster shot sooner – read more at COVID-19 vaccinations .

The vaccination to be administered is Moderna’s Spikevax. You can get Moderna’s vaccine for your booster shot even if another brand of vaccine was used for your first vaccination.

You need your student card and Kela card, driver’s licence or passport with you when you come for the vaccination. Please dress in clothing that will make it easy for you to expose your upper arm.

The vaccination is free of charge and voluntary. Typically, students in secondary education can make their own decision on taking the vaccine, even if they are under the age of 18.

You can also get the vaccine at Ratina’s vaccination unit. Additional information: .
