At Tampere Residents' Evenings, you can hear about current issues in the city and take a stand on them. You can also get to know the activities of local associations and enjoy live music!
On this page you will find information about the program and accessibility of the Tampere Residents' Evenings in autumn 2025. The residents' evenings are in Kaleva, Tesoma, the City Centre and Hiedanranta. Please note that program changes are possible.
The evenings are open to all and free of charge. The events will follow the city's safer space policy.
You can drop in for a short or longer stay. Coffee is served at all events.
Tampere Residents' Evening in Kaleva
Time: Wednesday, August 27, at 17:00-18:30
Place: Kaleva hall, Sarvijaakonkatu 28

Tampere Residents' Evening in Tesoma
Time: Tuesday, September 2, at 17:00-18:30
Place: the Tesoma Welfare Centre, Tesomankatu 4
Tuesday, 2 September 2025 is Tesoma’s Day of Events!
At the Tesoma Welfare Centre, the morning kicks off with cultural programming, opportunities to meet people, and support for everyday challenges.
During the Tampere Residents' Evening, starting around 5 PM, you’ll have the chance to participate and influence current city matters. You can also meet Deputy Mayors Anne-Mari Jussila and Jaakko Mustakallio.
Throughout the day, you can respond to the Cultural Dreams survey, and those who participate will be entered into a gift card raffle. Some of Tesoma’s cultural dreams will be brought to life during the autumn!

Access
Hiedanranta is located in West Tampere on the shore of Lake Näsijärvi. You can easily get here by tram and bus. From Tampere Central Square (Keskustori) you can get to the Hiedanranta and Tehdas stops by tram in less than 15 minutes. Bus stops C and D and a connecting stop are located at the Hiedanranta interchange.
By bike and on foot, you can reach the district from many directions along the waterfront and park routes, or from Lielahti using the routes from both sides of the old factory (Tehdas).
Those arriving by car can access via Tehdaskartanonkatu. Please be careful on Tehdaskartanonkatu due to temporary traffic arrangements. During events, there will be an event parking area along Tehdaskartanonkatu.
