The Hiedanranta Garden Party will be celebrated on Saturday 19th of August - The closing party of the summer season offers plenty of things to see and experience for city residents of all ages!

In the Event Park one can enjoy beautiful music when Topi Saha, Pelkkä Poutanen and Luhtaniitty take the stage. You can also bring your own blanket and take part in a self-directed flea market and enjoy Hupsansaa ry’s flowery surprises in the Event Park. As usual, delicious food is being served in food stalls around the area.

Visitors of the Hiedanranta Garden Party get to enjoy performances and art in different parts of the area. The urban factory square and the atmospheric mansion area will be filled with a wide program and interesting activities. The Sori Sircus offers marvellous circus performances, the improvisation theatre group Snorkkeli entertains with their humor in their Sketsi-improShow and the joy of movement is brought by the Acrobatic gymnasts of the Tampere Gymnasts.

Different workshops varying from handicrafts to natural cosmetics can also be found around the area. Art tasting is a new kind of way of experiencing fine art, in which the focus is only on one work of art. The workshops, like the rest of the program, are free of charge.

The Mansion Park has plenty of activities and programs aimed at children, such as a giant soap bubble workshop, where you can also enter a giant bubble. The children’s program includes, among other things, Musahubailu by Dragon Princess Tuulispää and Hauskis, glitter tattoos, an obstacle course, a play theater station and a bouncy castle.

As an area, Hiedanranta changes and develops constantly. At the event, you can also sign up for a sneak peek to the factory mini-tour  to hear about the development of the sustainable region of the future.

Dance club Hurmio charms with their dance performances during the event. The Garden Party will end with Hurmio’s open to all record dances on the observation deck in the beautiful Mansion Park.
