Tampere hosts international High Level Forum Annual Summit in November

City of Tampere hosts an Annual Summit of High Level Forum, an international innovation network, in the beginning of November.

High Level Forum was founded in Grenoble in 2012, and it brings together international executives, decision and policy makers from the fields of education, research, industry, business, economy and public authorities engaged in the management or promotion of innovation.

- We are extremely happy to host the High Level Forum Annual Summit this year. Tampere is a significant European innovation ecosystem, and this is a great opportunity to introduce our innovations to the whole network. This summit has a notable role as a meeting place of international innovation society and as a forum for sharing best practices, says Aleksi Jäntti, Deputy Mayor of Tampere.

Tampere’s Annual Summit 2022 features plenty of international speakers around the world, including Audrey Tang, Minister of Digital Affairs in Taiwan, Genevieve Fioraso, Former Minister of Research and Higher Education in France, and Tatsuo Igarashi, Mayor of Tsukuba in Japan.

Annual summit focuses this year on how local and regional innovation ecosystems support the 2030 global goals.

High Level Forum network includes more than 40 innovation actors, networks and ecosystems from six different continents.

Annual Summit 2022 is organized on November 6-9 mainly at the premises of Tampere University.
