Employment Promotion Targeted Grant for intermediate labour market operators

Non-profit associations and organisations that provide services to unemployed job seeker clients in Tampere can apply for a grant.

The City of Tampere awards grants to organisations and associations that promote the employment of job seekers in Tampere or support the development of the quality and effectiveness of employment services. The services must also take into account foreign-language clients. Grants are awarded for activities in a real work environment and for work coaching aimed at placing clients in the open labour market.

The grants are primarily aimed at the wage costs of the activities.

Grants are not awarded to recipients of the City of Tampere Partnership Grant.

Grats are also not awarded for:

• Continuous financing of activities
• Activities supported by another grant from the city
• Activities which are profit-making or whose main purpose is fundraising
• Companies, private individuals and city departments
• Investments and the acquisition or improvement of immovable or movable property.

The application period is October 23 - November 12, 2025.

The application, with its attacments, is deemed to have been received by the deadline if it arrives in the electronic database or at the Registry by 15.45 on November 12, 2025.

Late applications will not be processed.

In addition to the general evaluation criteria (see the section on Eligibility criteria), the award of a grant will be considered in particular on the basis of.

Employment Promotion Grants:

• employment and support for employment conditions
• number of participants
• innovativeness, effectiveness and continuity of the activity
• cooperation with Employment and Growth Services and functioning within the employment promotion ecosystem

Evaluation criteria per application:

• self-financing
• qualitative objectives
• quantitative objectives
• accreditation/partial qualifications
• further guidance
• main forms of cooperation
• innovation
• necessity
• feasibility/overall impression

The grant is awarded by the Committee for Competence and Economic Development. The applicant will be informed of the decision by e-mail to the e-mail address provided in the application.

The grant may only be used for the purpose stated in the grant decision. If the grant decision does not specify the purpose, the grant must be used for the purpose stated in the application.

Grants will be paid once the award decision has become final, unless the decision stipulates otherwise for the payment schedule or lays down conditions for payment of the grant. The grant may be recovered if the conditions for its award are not met.

The beneficiary of a grant must undertake to report on the use of the funding and the results of the activities in accordance with the donor's annex. The beneficiary undertakes to collect electronic customer feedback.
