Sports and culture benefits at the Adult Education Centre of the Tampere Region

General information about using sports and culture benefits at the Adult Education Centre

You can pay for a course using targeted payment methods, i.e. sports and culture benefits, after registering for the course. The benefit must cover the entire course fee, and the payment must be made before the course begins.

If the course is cancelled, the payment will be transferred for future use and will remain valid for one year. Please note that refunds are not paid in cash.

Sports and culture benefits can be used to pay for sports courses, as well as handicrafts and arts courses, but not for basic art education fees (Tax Administration A195/200/2017). These benefits cannot be used to pay for courses in the knowledge category (e.g. ICT), well-being courses, or language courses.

Employer-provided, tax-free sports and culture benefits intended for personal use are personal, and therefore can only be used to pay for the course fees of the benefit holder.

If you wish to use the benefit for your own share of a couples’, children’s, or family course, please contact the Centre’s customer service directly.
