Laikku and the Whole World event will be moved indoors

Laikku and the Whole World event, scheduled for Saturday, June 6, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., will be moved indoors to the Culture Center Laikku, as heavy rain and thunderstorms are forecast for the day of the event. The event was originally planned to be held outdoors in Kirjastonpuisto park. The program will remain largely unchanged, but changes are possible.
People have flocked to the event. A juggler is throwing balls. A musician plays the guitar.
The event also had to be moved indoors in 2024. Then a juggler entertained visitors.

The concerts and dance performances originally planned for the Laikunlava outdoor stage will be held in the Music Hall (3rd floor). In the Lecture Hall (2nd floor), you can meet interesting associations, craftspeople, and other organizations. The Food Market will be held on a smaller scale in the Laikku Café (2nd floor) next to the main lobby.

The pre-event Puutarhurit theater performance and art workshop at the Children’s Cultural Center Rulla (1st floor) will take place as planned. The “Mää Tykkään!” exhibition at Rulla and the exhibitions at Laikku will also be open as usual.

Only a limited number of visitors can be admitted inside the Culture Center Laikku at a time, so there may be lines to enter different areas.

Access to the event is through Laikku’s main doors or via the accessible entrance on the Laikunlava outdoor stage side. The Children’s Cultural Center Rulla has its own entrance at the end facing Tampereen Teatteri theatre.

Laikku and the Whole World After Club at G Livelab will take place as previously announced. Emilia Sisco will perform at the after club.

Admission is free for both the main event and the after club.
