Kela benefits
If you are studying full-time in upper secondary school, you may have possibility to get the following from Kela
- study grant
- school transport subsidy
- student loan
- housing supplement

Insurance
Students at upper secondary schools are insured by the City of Tampere. The insurance is valid for activities in accordance with the educational institution's curriculum or work plan, including practical work placements, camps and field trips. The insurance also covers students from outside the municipality when they participate in the above-mentioned activities organised by the municipality.
The insurance is also valid for the above-mentioned activities during the direct journeys involved. Direct journey means a journey by the most direct route to and from the above-mentioned activities.
The insurance is valid anywhere in the world, with no upper age limit, for the duration of the activity in question.
