The Pirkanmaa Safety Survey collects views on, among other things, everyday safety, crime, disturbances, feelings of insecurity, accidents, and preparedness. The survey also includes a separate section on experiences of intimate partner violence.

The survey provides valuable experiential information from residents, complementing official statistics and registers held by public authorities.

The online survey is open to all residents of Tampere and others living in the Pirkanmaa region. Responses are collected anonymously, at the level of municipality of residence and postcode. The survey results will be handled confidentially.

You may respond in Finnish or English. Completing the survey takes approximately 15 minutes.

The survey is conducted by the Pirkanmaa Wellbeing Services County, and its results will be communicated at a later date. The findings will be used to support safety work in Pirkanmaa and its municipalities.
