Policy and International Affairs Unit
Policy and International Affairs unit is in charge of advocacy as a whole, responsible for the national and international development and coordination of advocacy. The unit promotes the national and international recognition and attractiveness of the City of Tampere among students, entrepreneurs, and investors.
The unit focuses particularly on ensuring the vitality and attractiveness of the city. The unit includes Tampere Region EU office in Brussels, which is responsible for representing the interests of the city and the entire province, supporting stakeholder networking, and promoting the use of EU funding in development activities.
The unit is headed by Anna-Kaisa Heinämäki.
