Equality and non-discrimination survey gathers student experiences at the Adult Education Centre – responses open until 17 May
The update of the Equality and Non-Discrimination Plan for 2027–2029 has now begun, and as part of this process the Adult Education Centre is seeking the views of its students. The anonymous survey examines the current situation regarding equality, inclusion, inappropriate behaviour, discrimination, prejudice and harassment, as well as accessibility and physical accessibility.
The survey responses will be used in particular to define the measures included in the updated plan. According to Tuula Vatanen, assistant principal of the Adult Education Centre and head of the equality and non-discrimination planning work, the survey offers students an important opportunity to have an influence.
– The survey provides students with a concrete way to share their experiences. It is important to us to develop the Adult Education Centre together with our students, and that is why every response is genuinely valuable, Vatanen says.
The planning work will continue throughout the autumn. The Adult Education Centre of the Tampere Region will provide updates on the progress of the work and the survey results on its website.
All students who have studied at the Adult Education Centre during the past academic year are invited to respond to the equality and non-Discrimination survey. The survey is available in Finnish and English.
The estimated response time is approximately 10 minutes. The survey closes on Sunday, 17 May 2026 at 11:59 pm.
