In Your Own Voice, an exhibition by Sara Hildén Academy, 12 March–7 April 2026 at Gallery Vivi
The In Your Own Voice exhibition (Omalla äänellä) presents paintings, drawings, comics, ceramic sculptures and moving image works by students aged 13–16 from the Sara Hildén Academy’s School of Visual Arts.
The exhibition is built around works developed through the young people’s own interests.
– To help students find their own subject matter, we created shared idea boards where everyone could bring inspiring images and related words, says Heidi Saramäki, assistant principal responsible for the Sara Hildén Academy.
The In Your Own Voice exhibition is on display at Gallery Vivi in Monitoimitalo 13 until 7 April 2026, in accordance with the building’s opening hours. Admission is free.
The Sara Hildén Academy is the Adult Education Centre’s School of Visual Arts, providing basic education in the arts for children, young people and adults. The teaching staff consists of art teachers, visual artists and professionals in the visual arts field.
