Culture Service Group

The Culture Service Group is responsible for cultural services within the City of Tampere organisation. The city’s role is to act as a producer, supporter, and enabler of diverse cultural activities, including those that emerge independently in unexpected places. The service group consists of six units and an administrative function.

Culture is a prerequisite for a good life for residents. Taking part in it, people in Tampere meet themselves and each other and create something new together. As Culture Service Group, we make it possible for everyone to experience and make culture and art, as well as to develop their education and understanding.

By producing high-quality content and supporting professionals in the field and diverse cultural life, we ensure Tampere's position as a high-quality cultural city. This increases the desire to live in and visit Tampere.
