Art Arc is a cultural education programme tied to the basic education and early childhood education of the city of Tampere. Art Arc introduces over 20,000 children and young people annually to art and cultural destinations as observers, experiencers, and always also creators.

The following registration dates are:

NOTE! The registration dates for preparatory education for grades 0-3 have been postponed. Teachers will be informed of the new registration time via email during week 7.

For the school year 2024-2025, there are three registration dates:

August 2024: Preschool, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 6th grade, 8th grade
November 2024: 3rd grade, 7th grade, 8th grade, 9th grade
February 2025: Preschool, 4th grade, 5th grade


The Art Arc annual plan for 2024-2025, including schedules, will be delivered to the principals in April 2024. Class teachers will receive information about registration openings via email.
