Laikku exhibitions
The exhibitions showcase contemporary art and other current themes related to visual arts and design. All Laikku exhibitions are free of charge and open during Laikku's opening hours.
The Gallery and Studio on the second floor presents exhibitions selected through an annual spring call for exhibitions. The second floor also houses the Corridor Gallery, which features children's art exhibitions. On the third floor, the Lobby Gallery hosts exhibitions by visual arts enthusiasts, art groups, associations and other third sector actors.

In the Gallery
3 October – 8 November, 2026 The Language of Drawing
The exhibition focuses exclusively on the art of drawing. The artists William Dennisuk, Anni Kristiina, Pinja Palviainen, Saara Reinikainen and Heidi Suikkanen each approach drawing from a slightly different perspective. What unites them is their experience of drawing as an essential form of communication and an important way of understanding both the world and themselves.
In the Studio
3 October – 8 November, 2026 Laura Hetemäki: Tarttuminen
In her artistic practice, Laura Hetemäki combines painting, drawing, linen weaving and the close observation of objects and materials. The subjects of her paintings are drawn from everyday observations and memories of places from the past.
