- The whole family can engage in activities at Rulla. Please note that children under 10 must always be accompanied by an adult responsible for them.
- Rulla has a kitchen for its customers and tables where customers can eat packed meals.
- During Art Hours, Rulla's Art Room is closed and opens at 12 pm (on even-numbered Saturdays from 24 January to 16 May, 2026).
- We do not take groups to Rulla during opening hours. We do not take group reservations in spring 2026.
- You can come to Rulla by almost all public transport. More information about schedules: Nysse.
- Rulla is maintained by Tampere Public Cultural Services.
Sign in for the Jamkids music session on Friday 17.4. in Rulla
The Jamkids' music sessions are about rhymes, singing and playing in a happy atmosphere. If you wish, you can also talk about your child's music hobby and get to know Jamkids activities in Tampere.
The first music session at 09:15 am is designed for children aged 0–1.
The second session at 10 am is designed for children aged 2–3.
Both sessions are limited to the first 15 children who register. The sessions last 30 minutes and are free of charge.
Taidekaari's anniversary exhibition Love It! opens in Rulla
Love It! art exhibition opens at the Children's Cultural Centre Rulla on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 11 a.m. The program includes celebratory speeches, an art workshop related to the exhibition, and searching tasks in the exhibition. Some of the artists of the exhibition can also be met at the opening.
The 20th-anniversary exhibition of Tampere’s cultural education program Art Arc (Taidekaari), highlights children’s perspectives on art. “Cute, especially that ball—I love this. It looks like childhood,” says 10-year-old Hilla, describing the piece she chose for the exhibition.
Come and make art in Rulla's Art Hours
During the Art Hours we create art and get to know different techniques and materials with the workshop instructor. Art Hours are recommended for children five-year-olds and older.
Advance registration to Art Hours opens at 2 pm on Wednesday of the week before the Art Hour.
