Sampola Nature Night on Friday 14 November

Culture Highlight #46: Sampola Nature Night will fill the Adult Education Centre and the library on Friday, 14 November, from 4 pm until midnight. The programme, suitable for nature lovers of all ages, includes art workshops, exhibitions, theatre and dance performances, as well as up-to-date literature tips. The event is free of charge.

The programme, inspired by nature and diverse sustainability, includes rhyme, story, and craft workshops for all ages, as well as film, dance, and theatre performances.In addition, visitors can learn about sustainability work at the adult education centre and see how the themes are reflected in art exhibitions featuring various techniques.

On the library side, guests can take part in book recommendations and a quiz, meet an author, and create badges and 3D artworks.

The event is free of charge and does not require advance registration. Sampola’s facilities are fully accessible.

Sampola Nature Night is the closing event of the Syke 2 – Ecosocial Education and Sustainable Development project, which focuses on ecosocial education at the Adult Education Centre of the Tampere Region. The event is organised in cooperation with Sampola Library. The Syke 2 project is funded by the Finnish National Agency for Education until 31 December 2025.
