Tampere’s most colourful festival Laikkuun mahtuu koko maailma

Laikkuun mahtuu koko maailma is a cultural festival celebrating the diverse culture of Tampere, which will fill Laikunlava ourdoor stage and the Kirjastonpuisto park with music, dance and art on Saturday 7 June from 2 pm to 6 pm. You can also get to know different associations and take part in workshops yourself.

For the third time, Laikku mahtuu koko maailma event brings international performers and a wide range of activities to Laikunlava outdoor stage. For example, Uniâo da Roseira will perform a rhythmic and colourful samba show that will take you on a journey to hot Brazil and bring an energetic carnival atmosphere. Banda Caribe Helsinki band plays traditional Cuban bolero, popular hot Latin hits and danceable, lively timba.

There will also be a market area where various associations and other actors will present their activities. There will be workshops and handicrafts for sale. There will also be food sales, KorentoArt's roving characters, children's art workshops and a live art programme by the Somana Association. The event will be hosted by journalist, DJ and activist Renaz Ebrahimi.

Culture House Laikku and Children’s Cultural Center Rulla will also be open throughout the event.
