Heartbeat of Joy - Dance performance on 11 April at Sampola

Culture Highlight #15: Heartbeat of Joy - Dance performance aims to bring joy through dance and invites the audience to enjoy the thrill of dance for charity at the adult education center. The event will be held on Friday, 11 April 2025, in the Sampola Event Hall starting at 7 pm.

The dance performance at the adult education center will feature oriental dance, folk dance, Bollywood, jazz, lyrical jazz, and ballet.

The performance honors the values of ecosocial civilization and sustainable development. The event is free of charge, but attendees can purchase a program booklet for a voluntary amount, with proceeds going to charity.

The charity chosen for the Heartbeat of Joy performance is the Tiitiäisen Forest, a conservation area established by the Finnish Natural Heritage Foundation and WSOY in honor of author Kirsi Kunnas. The forest is located near the center of Ylöjärvi, next to Pikku-Ahvenisto, making it easily accessible for recreation.

Sampola Event Hall has an accessible entrance on the second floor of the building. No prior registration is required for the event. The performance lasts about an hour.

The pop-up café of the student association of The Adult Education Centre of the Tampere Region will serve event attendees.
