The fee charged from the customer at the municipal small animal clinic may consist of several parts. The total sum includes fees for the visit, procedures, clinic and equipment as well as supply, medication and laboratory costs.
Due to an amendment to the Veterinary Care Act, a time-based fee will also be introduced for supplementary veterinary services.
Visit and procedure fees
The fee charged from the customer at the municipal small animal clinic may consist of several parts. The total sum includes fees for the visit, procedures, clinic and equipment as well as supply, medication and laboratory costs.
Clinic fee
- Basic visit: €20 / visit
- Vaccination, euthanasia, further treatment injections and control and repeat visits within 2 weeks of the previous visit: €7 / visit
The clinic fee includes 25.5% VAT.
Equipment fees, supplementary veterinary services
In addition to the equipment fee, a clinic fee and a time-based fee for supplementary veterinary services €17.75/starting 15 minutes (incl. VAT 25.5%) are charged.
- Ultrasound examination: €10
- Inhalation anaesthesia: €10
- Equipment fee, X-ray: €20
Equipment fees include 25.5% VAT.
Time-based fee, supplementary veterinary services
The fee is calculated according to national guidelines on a market basis at €71/hour.
- The time-based rate is €17.75 for each starting 15 min period
The fee includes 25.5% VAT.
In addition to the fee, a clinic fee is charged.
