The services of Tampere A-clinic

The Tampere A-clinic department provides care and expert help for the clients whose daily life is hampered by substance abuse and the social disadvantages related to the abuse.

The K-clinic requires a cover letter from the Addiction Psychiatric Consultation Unit (TAUH). The other services of the A-clinic can be contacted on one’s own initiative.
The services are free of charge.

A-Clinic is a service point for outpatient treatment offered to intoxicant abusers and their families. The need for outpatient treatment is evaluated at the clinic.
The social therapist receives clients without appointments: Monday to Friday 8.15 - 10.30.

Youth clinic is a place for the treatment of young people – for example drug abusers – and for assisting their families.
Contacts without appointments: Monday to Friday 10 - 13.

Matala develops new low-step work practices for drug-, medicine- and mixed abusers while supporting their close relatives.

"Nervi" is a health advice service point for users of intravenous drugs and a point for changing needles.

The K-clinic gives replacement therapy for the opioid dependent patients over 18 years of age.

The A-clinic service point is for evaluating the need for substitution therapy.
