It is advisable to contact a social worker at the social welfare offices when
- the family faces difficulties with
providing care and education for either children or adolescents
- the
abuse of intoxicants affects one's own life and/or that of close
persons
- the family has financial difficulties
- you are
facing other crises in your life
- you need advice and guidance
concerning social security or services.
In addition to basic social work, other services include: intoxicant abuse prevention and treatment, children's placing-out along with issues relating to fatherhood acknowledgement and child guardianship.
There are two kinds of social welfare offices: ones for families with children, and one for adults.
