The Emil Gallery is an exhibition space for art and it is maintained by the City of Tampere Cultural Affairs. The Emil Gallery comprises two exhibition spaces, Galleria and Studio, which are located at the Old Library House. There are about 12-15 art exhibitions organised annually at the gallery: mainly group exhibitions, but also solo exhibitions in special cases, such as exhibitions coming from the friendship cities of Tampere and exhibitions organised in conjunction with the cultural weeks. The Cultural Affairs also organises invitational exhibitions. All exhibitions are free of charge.
