The Regional State Administrative Agency for Western and Inland Finland has imposed assembly restrictions in the Tampere Region for indoor public events involving more than 100 people. The restrictions apply to events with an audience in stands. Communal singing events are also subject to restrictions.

<![CDATA[The budget for 2022 was approved by the City Council]]> https://www.tampere.fi/en/city-of-tampere/info/current-issues/2021/11/18112021_1.html The budget of the City of Tampere for the next year and the financial plan for 2022–2025 were approved by the City Council on 15 November 2021. The city's operating expenses in 2022 are estimated at EUR 2.0 billion. The operating margin will increase by 4.5% (EUR 60.6 million) compared to the current year's forecast. According to the budget, the result for the financial year is a deficit of EUR 26.6 million, and during 2022 a financial balancing and productivity programme will be launched.

This autumn, the criteria for receiving the free vaccine have become tighter as a result of the regulation amendments made by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health. The objective of these amendments is to ensure that the National Vaccination Programme has enough vaccines to vaccinate all persons susceptible to serious influenza.

Invoicing practices related to e-invoices and direct payments will change on 20 October 2021, and this change requires measures from the customers. In the future, the customer only needs to make one agreement for receiving invoices from the city. The new agreement will cover all the services invoiced by the city, with the exception of invoices sent by Tampere Water.
