An appointment with a physician at the health centre is 20.60 euros/visit for persons over 18 years of age.
- The fee is charged, at a maximum, three times per year.
- The services are free of charge for those under 18 years of age.
- Appointments with a nurse are free of charge.
- The maximum amount payable is 683 euros per calendar year. When this maximum amount has been reached, the care given thereafter is free of charge during the calendar year concerned.
Health centres cannot accept cash payments. You can pay the fee with the most common debit and credit cards. Visa Electron is accepted at all health centres. If you cannot pay using a card, you can get an invoice by post. Or, if you wish, you can also have the invoice submitted directly to your online banking service.
However, you have to sign an online invoice agreement with your online banking service to be able to receive online invoices.
Invoices can be paid in cash at the city pay desk (Frenckellinaukio 2 B) where all invoices by the City of Tampere can be paid.
Patients 18 years of age or older are charged 50,80 euros for a missed appointment that has not been cancelled. The fee can be charged for appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time. The fee is not charged if the patient had an acceptable reason for not cancelling the appointment.
The price for a medical certificate depends on the type of certificate.
The fee is the health care centre fee (20,60 euros) for some of the patients from Monday to Friday 8 - 20, otherwise the hospital outpatient department fee (41,20 euros) is charged.
