Hockey Day features a junior hockey tournament, fan competitions, skating and skills training and musical performances. A Stanley Cup trophy will be on display at the venue.
Former NHL players as well as other hockey influencers and authorities will be present. The event culminates on Saturday with a watch party for the NHL regular season game between the Detroit Red Wings and the Colorado Avalanche. The game starts at around 7 pm.
The event, organised by the NHL, the Finnish Ice Hockey Association, Viaplay Group and local societies, will feature entertainment throughout the opening hours. The event area will be open from 10 am to 11 pm on both days.
