Christmas at the Palace opens in Museum Milavida
Christmas at the Palace consists of an exhibition, themed guided tours and a rich supporting programme. The exhibition and guided tours explore 19th century Christmas dishes, decorations, gifts and celebrations. What did Christmas dishes taste like, how did wealthy families decorate their homes for Christmas? How did people spend their time during the Christmas holidays? What gifts might the von Nottbecks, for example, have given each other?
As Christmas approaches, Milavida’s opening hours will be extended. From 7 December, the museum will be open from Tuesdays to Sundays 11am – 6pm.
