Phone numbers for the City of Tampere’s health care counselling will change at the end of this year. Health care counselling’s long number 03 5657 0023 will remain the same, but the short number 03 10023 will no longer be used after 31 December 2021.

We are terminating the short number, as it is not possible to call it from prepaid subscriptions and abroad. In addition, it does not work with mobile phone packages.

Opening hours of health care counselling remain the same: you can call us on 03 5657 0023 every day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Residents of Tampere and Orivesi receive assistance and guidance for non-urgent health issues from this number when their own health centre is closed. Appointments for COVID 19 vaccinations and at the Kämmenniemi health centre can also be made using this number. People with hearing or speech impairments can send a text to health care counselling on 040 639 7700 every day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. We will respond to your text message as soon as possible.

When your health centre is closed and you have an urgent matter that is not an emergency, the Tampere Region Medical Helpline will help you on 116117. The Medical Helpline is open 24/7. In an emergency, call the emergency number 112.
