Students in their final year of upper secondary school can receive their booster shot sooner

The shortest waiting period between the first shot and the booster shot is generally eight weeks. Exceptionally, final-year students who are participating in the matriculation examination this autumn as well as students going on an exchange or studying abroad can receive a booster shot before eight weeks has passed if they would otherwise not be eligible for it before the matriculation examination or their student exchange. However, we recommend at least five weeks between vaccinations.

You can get an expedited booster shot from Ratina’s vaccination unit by appointment or without appointment. You must prove that you are participating in the matriculation examination or a student exchange when you get the shot. As proof of your participation in the matriculation examination, you can show your registration form in Wilma on your phone.
