Ratina’s vaccination unit closed 26–27 August 2021

The Ratina vaccination unit in Tampere will be closed on Thursday, 26 August and Friday, 27 August 2021 due to events.

Covid-19 vaccinations.

From 30 August onwards, Ratina’s vaccination unit (Ratinan rantatie 1) will offer vaccines from Monday to Friday:
– By appointment Mon - Fri, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
– Without an appointment (walk in -line) Mon - Fri, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (1st and 2nd shot)

The Ratina's vaccination unit will also organise a vaccination Saturday on 4 September by appointment from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and without an appointment from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

You can get the booster shot 8 weeks after your first shot or wait for the full 12 weeks. To get the booster shot early, go to Ratina’s walk-in line without an appointment. Mornings are usually the busiest times at the walk-in line, while evenings are less busy. Before getting your early booster shot, make sure that it has been at least 8 weeks since your first shot. You can also make an appointment to get an early booster shot online or by calling 03 56 570 023 (every day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.).

The vaccination unit at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre (Messukeskus) was permanently closed on 13 August 2021. If you got your first shot in Messukeskus, your booster shot will be given at Ratina’s vaccination unit. You do not need to make a separate appointment. The appointment written on the paper you received at Messukeskus after your first shot is also valid in Ratina.
