The Hervanta coronavirus service point will be closed temporarily, open again on August 30th 2021

The Hervanta coronavirus service point will be closed from 14 July to 29 August 2021. The service point will again continue to carry out coronavirus tests without appointment and provide coronavirus instructions in various languages starting from 30 August 2021.

The Hervanta coronavirus service point has offered coronavirus information and testing to those residents of Tampere who have difficulties in booking an appointment for a coronavirus test through Omaolo or by phone. The number of customers at the service point has decreased significantly during the summer.

The general guideline remains unchanged: you should go to a coronavirus test with a low threshold because even a person with slight or no symptoms can spread the disease.

Go to the test if you have symptoms such as cough, runny nose, sore throat, fever, headache, shortness of breath, diarrhea, or loss of smell and taste.

You can get a testing appointment by filling in the symptom assessment form in the Omaolo service or calling the health care counselling service on 03 5657 0023 (daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.). The testing points are at Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre and at Tays Central Hospital.
