Peru - Three Millennia of the Land of the
Andes

The book on Peru is a sturdy package, in which teachers and pupils interested in it can find information based on present-day research in the Finnish language. It wants to give a larger picture of Peru than its exotic details, a picture, where different phenomena of history and present-day have been linked to where they belong. The articles of the book present Peru´s nature, rich ancient cultures, the time of European colonial power and the present society. As a fashionable addition, there are also recipes, so that getting to know Peru is not only theoretical reasoning.
